POSSIBILITY

The Speed Project Atacama 2024
This is not a story about competition. It’s about endurance – not just physically, but mentally.

Over the past ten years, Nicki Lange has trained, stumbled, quit, and returned – always driven by two simple questions:
What if? Why not?

These questions become the heartbeat of “Possibility”, a raw and intimate documentary that captures a man confronting the limits of his body and the narratives of his past. Set against the surreal vastness of the Atacama Desert, the more than 400 km run of The Speed Project Atacama becomes a canvas for reflection and finding the answer to what if, why not.

“Possibility” shifts between the present moments in the desert – blistered feet, cracked lips, endless silence – and fragments of the past: lonely training runs, mental challenges, memories of races that didn’t go as planned. Each step in the desert is mirrored by a step inward.

This documentary is not about finish lines and medals. “Possibility” is about asking: What’s possible when you dare to start?

About the Filmmakers
We are 202 - a photo and film collective that not only documents adventure, but lives it. Our cameras are not just tools, but extensions of our curiosity. We don't chase perfect pictures - we look for real stories.

Our vision? To break narratives, capture raw moments and inspire people to set out on their own. Our work is documentary, minimalist, dirty - but always real. We tell stories that stick.
